Description

The beak was open the entire time. I noticed the skin from the lower jaw/gullet was fluttering, too. There appears to be something lodged?

Description

Possibly a Western Paper Wasp but I don't know. I'm very curious about this one because when I shot this I didn't know it had a grub. It stuffed the grub in the handle of the patio umbrella and it comes around often and always alone. I'd love to know what's going on here. Thanks.
