Neotropic Cormorant (Nannopterum brasilianum)

Date

February 9, 2019 06:48 PM CST

Description

Not sure about these, saw them on the moccasin pond platforms with double crested cormorants, but I have never seen neotropic or double crested with white skin and looks like white going down the throat in one of them, could never get a front view unfortunately. Starting on 6th photo is the second bird.

On the first night of my long journery (28th), I was too exhausted to do any mothing. Happily, there were numerous moths found the next morning at one of the restrooms in the park.
