This snail shell was among the rocks during low tide. I didn't check whether it was inhabited, but I'd guess it's empty since the inhabited ones had an operculum at the opening. These shells were fairly abundant.

This rotting kelp was in a pile high on the beach during low tide. It smelled bad and was very slimy. There were lots of arthropods feeding on it.

This small Striped Shore Crab was in a shell I picked up to iNat. It climbed out. Picture 5 shows it as I found it.
