These two audio files were recorded while standing in one spot within one minute of each other. Both have been amplified.
I think I can hear an Eastern Towhee and Yellow Warbler. But I'm seeking an ID for the longer warble-y song heard:
in the first clip at about :06-:11 and :20-:26 (truncated at the end)
and in the second clip about :01-:09 and :15-:21 and :27-end (truncated).
Investigation suggest it may be either a Baltimore Oriole or a Rose-breasted Grosbeak - both of which were present in the park.
the slurred whistle, sometimes ending in a downslur or an upslur about every two seconds.
