Posted a better photo from phone. Seen at an elevation around 3900ft on an adjoining dead-ended road to forest service road 67. There were between 2-4 on each of these many yellow blooms (unsure of the flower ID, will look up). They seemed to be interacting by flicking their antennae at each other within their small groups. Very interesting to watch.
Freshly molted moth caterpillar with the old skin still attached to the leaf - the smaller one of two of these feeding on mountain ash.
