Was gonna be in San Marcos, so I decided to check out this nest. Unfortunately, no eagles seen, but still cool nonetheless. It’s above a creek that is on private property, but can be seen from the public highway. I’ll probably return later in January, when there’s a better chance of seeing the eagles. If you wanna know, the nest is between Maxwell and Lockhart on HWY 142. If you see any eagles, just keep your distance, and don’t bother them too much. Coordinates are: 29°53'02"N 97°44'33"W
