This organism was seen at Lettuce Lake Park on May 20th at approximately 4:26 pm. The weather was very hot and sunny, reaching 90 degrees Fahrenheit. This organism was seen on a wooden boardwalk which is in between lots of trees and near a lake. The organisms body was blue with black and transparent wings and also black legs. The body also had some black stripes. It had large blue eyes with some black circles in them as well. This organism was shaped like a helicopter and according to Wikipedia, it is one of the largest skimmers, measuring around 50 to 63 mm.
