butterfliesoforegon's Identifications

Occasionally one of these elfins makes me look more carefully to be sure it's a Pine Elfin. This is one of those individuals because it lacks the typical highlights and much of the purple color in the disc/submedian band, which is a rich and nearly uniform brown instead. But it has the right submarginal markings and colors, was flying and interacting with other Pine Elfins, and doesn't look like the other candidates in this area (Brown, Hoary, or Moss's Eflins). So I think it's still a Pine Elfin, although I'd be happy to learn otherwise if it's likely something else.
