Photos taken from footpath beside Waitemata Harbour. Had me confused from a distance as still sporting some baby down. Maybe breeding on Rangitoto Island, not far away?
Found dead in the water. Collected for autopsy.
Small flock of 6 or 7 birds hanging out with a large flock of pigeons while they were being fed by humans. The birds are regularly at this location.
Not sure which taxon to choose for NZ observations.
