There is a species that they grow millions of tons in this genus for food in China. Hopefully this is one.
Block browns like Shiitake.
Taste was nice but only chew and spat out. No bitter after taste.
I have never seen such giant white mushrooms like this before growing on wood.
These were very large, some were 65mm. Never seen such large white mushrooms.

A pair that frequents my garden and enjoys pecking around at the seed below the feeder scattered by over-exhubrant sparrows.
wasps nest definitely common wasp not german ,right on the edge of the path probably should be removed before they hurt some one.
