On narrow-leaved milkweed, Asclepias fascicularis
Observed 3 specimens browsing the greenery and snacking on the foliage as they made their way across the hillside
Observed 5 specimens among the leaves of California Dutchman's Pipe
This one was really fat midway down it's body. In fact it tried to disappear head first down the hole in front of it but soon realized it was too big for the hole and when it was half way in the hole it had to reverse and come back out again. Not sure if it's a gravid female or if he/she had just eaten!
