For the last day of "duck week" I went to the best place to see ducks/waterfowl in the metroplex -- Village Creek Drying Beds! http://www.birdwatchingdaily.com/hotspots/45-village-creek-drying-beds-fort-worth-texas/
Lots of pintails, grebes, mallards, shovelers, scaups, gadwalls, buffleheads, canvasbacks, ring necks, teals, and probably other ducks that I didn't spot. :)

Well... I ended "duck week" on a sour note... At this park, the ducks are basically domesticated and being gorged with bread and garbage food. :-/ There were loaves of bread and bags of fritos all over the place by this duck pond. Ah well. :-/
