Unknown blue staining bolete:
Shingleback lizard eating a native blue staining Bolete. Returned to the site about 17 hours later and the blue staining has reverted back to yellow.
Observed one mushroom also liquifying through the core of the stipe (not sure if this was due to an insect or a feature of this mushroom).
Cap is a rich tan colour with a suede like texture, either smooth or dimpled.
Golden Pores quickly bruise a inky blue-black when lightly pressed.
Solid stipe.
Environment is native scrub (acacia, casuarina pines, native cherry, eucalyptus ect) near a disused dam close to a walking path.
