Very terrible photo but it flew after this one so eh

I finally found a male mosquito! Funny how when you look for them, you don't see them as much. I took the picture from inside my window, hence only being able to see the front of the mosquito.

These little dudes are so hard to photograph well.

Pitfall left out in a patch of aspen near a tall grass meadow from July 5-12 2023.

Pitfall trap in a cattail marsh by a lake shore, impossible to know if it fell in by itself or crawled off of a rodent that was trying to steal the trap's bait.
