I noticed evidence of caterpillar activity on a tall grassy thing that came up underneath our birdie seed feeder, and sure enough a fat brown caterpillar was hiding near a leaf axil.1 March 2019:
The caterpillar pupated without a cocoon at the bottom of its tub.23 March 2019:
Moth emerged.

Passion by the passionfruit!
Saw lots of these bees flying around the common passionfruit, noted individuals landing on leaves and others then joining them and then flying off. Then I got the shot of these two mating, it was very brief, only taking a second or two. There was a good number of them just around the passionfruit in the front, none noted at the back one. Did spot others around the garden, mostly by flowers, but nowhere near as much as around the passionfruit.
