Watched these 2 wood ducks from our tent for about 30 minutes until someone on the trail nearby startled them away.

Just as I started walking across the off ramps to get closer, this hawk dove down into the brush beside the off ramp for a meal. so I tried to snap a couple shots and realized, I need to get back to the curb before this light changes (people FLY off down this ramp from the 5 Fwy north!). I was unable to get any shots of meal time, but was able to get a few nice shots as it perched on a street light and then telephone pole.
