Another one of those "National Geographic" observations which we were lucky to have. We came around a corner of some rocks and found a lioness with three cubs late in the afternoon resting on a large flat rock. We spent an hour there until it was too dark to take any images. She was a very patient mother with these little ones crawling all over her, biting her tail and her ears, etc. It was very special to see!

Description

Teneral male Telebasis salva with exuviae, small hymenopteran or something similar sitting on top of head (observation here: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/11983610)

For reference of the duration, the images were recorded at the following times (to seconds):
image 1: 09:41:18
image 2: 10:05:15
image 3: 10:29:21

I sat down and watched this little guy emerge for a while. He had amazing colors and as I got up I realized more conspecifics were emerging all over, dozens scattered from the edge of the pond as I walked back.

I will post more from this sequence when I get more time after I have posted other CNC observations.
