Description

According to gobotany.nativeplanttrust.org and Flora Novae Angliae
this species has much hair on the upper side of the leaves and A. howellii does not. Flora of New Brunswick would call this A. howellii var. neodioca and my A. howellii posting of July 1/19 var. canadensis. Flora of Nova Scotia calls them all A. neglecta - so I am confused.
