Not sure what is going on but this is the fourth birder that I know of who has had a phoebe perch on their binoculars or on their person at Commons Ford.

Was watching the butterflies when suddenly out of the corner of my eye one dropped straight down into the bushes. I did not realize that Dragonflies took butterflies, especially not poisonous ones ...

Description
Very excited to see this! A sleeping Red Fox, just by the side of the Forth and Clyde canal. I’ve never seen a resting city fox during the day, and I wouldn’t have seen this one if I hadn’t decided to chance zooming in on what I thought was an abandoned piece of clothing. Unfortunately, you can see the litter all around on the ground near the fox - the canal isn’t the tidiest of environments. Nevertheless, it’s good to see there are some animals that can still call it home!

We saw the snake eagle as it flew up from the ground. It flew in slow circles while it controlled and started to eat the snake. One minute from pic 1 to pic 8 where it started to eat the snake. Total time for this series, three minutes.
