It had been placed by someone else on a rock lining the path in an archeological site. I picked it up to take pics from all angles, then placed it back where I’d found it and in the same orientation. Looks pretty human to me, but I’m not sure, hence the observation. I was respectful in my own way, although I recognize that this observation may cross boundaries that I’m not aware of. I will happily remove it if this is not acceptable.
