Description
Further research indicates Byssonectria terrestris as a highly likely ID. I thought slime mold at first, but the cup-shaped fruiting body really threw me off so I then went with Bisporella as my initial ID on iNat. I was able the peel the whole thing off the ground like a sheet of paper. Very interesting specimen.
