Hackberry Emperor butterfly landed on my windshield and posed while I took several pictures from inside the car - looking at it from underneath!

This is a different bird than the one labeled Buteo; they were both observed at same time on different utility poles.

Sitting quietly on shore, not moving though there were people around at the park.

There was a pair of these birds in grassy area on Bowman Rd.
