I am extremely sorry for the tiny pics! This observation is part of my attempt to safe some of my older observations. Unfortunately, the original pictures have been lost and these are retrieved from a nature-internetforum, where I posted them back then. Unfortunately, the forum also had a data crash at some point, so only the tumpnails are left. I try to upload only those observations of which I think, they might be verifiable even with those small pics only. Again sorry!

Just for the fun of it - again, I am not even sure I can correctly identify the parents. But this plant has broad, non spotted leaves, and the flower patterns look like incarnata, but the lip is not bent back. But this genus seems to just evolve, so maybe there is not much point in trying to identify species...just a thought...

Underpass by the river, in mud left after recent high water. Fairly small (see hand for scale). Animal was small enough to fit under the outcropping edge of the pillars supporting the underpass (ca. 20 cm), as there were tracks underneath.

In which I have an unusually cooperative subject and nonetheless fail to arrive at clarity after consulting the keys. C. elongata/inermis? It seems I need better photos of the sternites.
Repeat visitor; pictures were taken at various times within a half-hour period, but are of the same individual (torn right forewing).
She fell into an empty flowerpot and was having trouble getting out, so I let her crawl on my finger. She was considerate enough not to fly away immediately, which gave me an opportunity for close-up photos.

A bit unexpected, but unless I went wrong somewhere with the ID, I don't think he is M. lagopoda or M. willughbiella. Sandy area along the top of a cliff.
Megachile lagopoda found in the immediate vicinity last year.
