Bird Breath
During an earlier cold snap, I took this shot when it was 25 degrees. I was unaware until I was processing photos much later that I had captured a first for me. You can see this bird's breath in the cold air. It looks like it is blowing smoke rings. I think this is so cool.
@sambiology check this out, a first for me to see. not the bird, the visible breath.

Unusually vocal individual. Multiple calls before I started recording. I located it visually high up on a tree shortly before it took flight, calling the whole time (audio file 1). It flew in a semi-circle and landed in another tree, inspected a hole in the trunk, then disappeared around the other side. More calls (audio file 2), then an assortment of other noises (audio file 3).
