It is the bird in the background of both photos.

Amazed the find the same female almost a year apart. Re-identified by matching the yellow patterns as well as by the fact that it is blind in it’s left eye.

Green tree frog in vacant bird nest! Repurpose/reuse.

One of two that produces chestnuts on the property.

Large American chestnut directly on east side of the road. Very little blight detected. Unfertilized chestnut burs were noted.

This photo lost some quality in scanning from an old slide. It shows a wild-born bird. The species is now extinct in the wild.
