Interesting butterfly- looks like an American Lady with much of the black - orange. The underside being tan, the white window spot missing though, has me puzzled.

Description

Red admiral with unusual coloration. The forewings look like they come from a Yellow admiral. I wonder about the possibility of hybrid.
Any thoughts?
