tiny weevils, black above, white ventrally, with big eyes each side of an elongated snout which was black in some individuals and white dorsally in others (individuals to be posted separately). All happily destroying the Orange blossoms in their quest for sustenance.
These weevils had a cute habit when disturbed; they would fold their lower legs away behind the femurs which were left to dangle, as shown in http://www.ispot.org.za/node/285447 which is of a white snouted individual with more details. (I think the more orange ventral colour is distortion, the paper it was on was white not pink and in the field they were all black & white)
