We've seen this species several times over the years in Strathcona Park alpine areas. I've shown to some experts, but no one yet has recognized it.

Growing between anglica and rotundifolia. Few scattered plants with intermediate phenotypes.
Brown cap with white raised spots, round caps turning flat up to 6" in diameter as they mature. Gills underneath, stem widens toward the bottom and it has a skirt around the stem below the half way mark.
