Description
Found in the open in turkey oak scrubland, very xeric sand. Feeding on a noctuid larva. I have been searching for this spider for 15 years+ in GA... and this is my first one.

I'm really liking this for a female P. johnsoni, but it would be well east of documented range so I'm leaving it to genus. Discussion on ID welcome.

Found this little one in my bathroom and relocated her outside. A naturalist friend thought she might be a Phidippus johnsoni but none of the pictures of those I found online really matched her coloration.

ID is my best guess - other more expert opinions appreciated. This was a relatively large Jumping Spider.

Adult female, but I don't recognize the species. I've seen phidippus clarus, regius, audax, Richmani, and cardinalis on site.
Edit: purpuratus does have a small range in Florida, officially! Did not know that.
