External hairs brown, 130 - 540 x 21 - 35 µm, wall thickness 5 - 7.3 µm. Paraphyses tips enlarged up 9.8 µm. Asci are 275 - 310 x 16.3 - 18 µm. Spores have rounded verrucae, which are sometimes larger at the poles, excluding the warts the size is (19.3) 19.7 - 21 x (9.6) 9.8 - 10.6 (11) µm, Q = (1.9) 1.92 - 2.07 (2.1), N = 10, Me = 20.2 x 10.2 µm, Qe = 2.

Spore deposit cream. Odor not distinct. Cap 8 cm across, cuticle unpeelable. Stipe 7.5 cm long x 2.5 cm wide at the apex. Gills cream. Average spore size 7.7 x 6.5 µm, with isolated warts up to 0.9 µm high sometimes merging with others or forming short connecting lines. Growing under shore pine.

Spore deposit white. No distinct odor. Cap 1.6 - 2.5 cm across. Stipe 3.5 - 7.5 cm long x 2 - 7 mm thick. Spores (6.4) 6.6 - 7.9 (9.1) x (3.9) 4 - 4.6 (5) µm, Q = (1.5) 1.6 - 1.86 (1.9), N = 25, Me = 7.3 x 4.3 µm. Growing under Picea sitchensis and Alnus.
