Buthacus macrocentrus (Ehrenberg, 1828)
Scorpions with two metasomae (tails) are extremely rare, with one estimate I saw as one in every 5,000 specimens. This specimen is approximately 3cm long head to stinger and is being maintained in captivity to study its behavior.
I found this using a black light flashlight with BJ Stacey (@finatic) at the Carrie Nation Trailhead parking lot at Madera Canyon, Arizona.
Read a detailed account of this specimen's discovery and observation updates at the journal post linked below:

At first I thought I was observing an ant trail, but they seemed more orderly, more single file than what I normally see. So I took a closer look.

Saw this Egyptian Fruit Bat (supposedly) offered at the markets of Uige, Angola quite a lot. Am not so sure if it really is a Rousettus aegyptiacus or might be another species.
Kindly assist with IDing, sorry for not providing better pictures.
bushmeat
Extraordinarily large ball python found in Kindia, Guinea
Animal was being processed for the bushmeat market. There seems to be no regulation of trade in wildlife species most especially in the bushmeat trade including those regulated by law. Massive conservation education, enforcement and enlightenment of citizenry, capacity building, involvement of indigenous communities in conservation projects as well as alternative sources of livelihood is needed to reverse this unsustainable trend.

Solution for all who are still wondering: The plastic rattle snake has been put in the entrance of the camp kitchen as a deterrent against the local troop of Malbrouck Monkeys, which used to raid the stored food, and surprisingly they never ever entered the kitchen since then.
This skink, however, equipped with astounding cognitive abilities, shows off with his balls of steel.

I had found the ootheca while doing yard work and it ended up detached from it's host twig so I pinned it under the slender handle of the lantern hanging on the shepherd's hook then was lucky enough to catch the hatch.
Battle of the non-natives. I heard some movement in the vegetation and found this Chinese Mantis trying to capture a Common Wall Lizard. The lizard was able to escape.
An unfortunate accident caused the death of a cottonmouth. Inside the snake, there was a northern water snake. Inside the water snake, there was a sculpin. Food chain in action!
