skunk was dive-bombed by a Cooper's Hawk. It raised it's tail straight up and continued on it's way. The hawk flew off.

Northern Tamandua (Tamandua mexicana)Observer

Small anteater. Narrow nose. Fur light colored on the extremities. Back is black extending down part of the tail and upper part of the rear legs. Size was hard to estimate. This solitary individual was crossing the road south of the research station at Punta Galeta.
