Fisk Pollinator Sanctuary
About
Fisk Pollinator Sanctuary is located on a 2-acre wet mesic prairie.
Restoration began in 2021 with the removal of Reed Canary Grass and Thistles. Small patches of Common Milkweed were left undisturbed.
The replanting of Native Prairie Plants began in 2022. The restoration included sowing native flowers that are preferred by Rusty Patched Bumble Bees.
