This is my Year 2 project of my course at college and therefore need as much data as possible to help build a picture of British lawns across the country.
The aim of this project is to find out species diversity of plants in garden lawns depending upon soil type and how regularly they are cut.
It is to help show that a less regularly cut lawn or a lawn with added wildflowers can benefit a greater range of species than a lawn that is cut regularly and is only made up of very few species.
It is also to show that certain plant species will be found on soils of a particular type, how they have been affected by fertilisation and how they age of a particular lawn can affect the diversity of plant species.
