I've always had an interest in anything science related. That interest has focused lately in the area of ecology and natural resources. I'm certified as an Oregon Master Naturalist. After retiring from my 30+ year career as a medical technologist, I've been volunteering for our many great organizations that promote taking care of our Oregon environment and wildlife. I've been involved with the Backyard Habitat Certification program and enjoy observing nature in action, identifying all living things, and watching for both large and subtle changes in an environment. I have a blog that focuses on the importance of biodiversity (naturalconnections.blog). I also enjoy being around people who share the same values and interests.
