The Nashwaak Watershed Association acts as stewards of the watershed of the Nashwaak River in central New Brunswick, Canada. We are committed to not just the conservation of the watershed, but also restoration, and have multiple ongoing projects where previous agricultural flood-prone land is being reforested to become silver maple floodplain forests once more, rapidly eroding banks are being re-treed to prevent further shallowing and warming of the river, and impassable culverts are being refurbished or removed to restore fish access to breeding waters, especially the endangered Outer Bay of Fundy Atlantic Salmon.

Through this iNaturalist account and its projects, we can passively collect a record of species that inhabit the watershed. Thank you for any contributions you have made to our knowledge base!
