I am a naturalist, ecologist and educator from Toronto, Canada. But it’s the naturalist bit that defines me the best and my love of the natural world is truly my first passion. Nature has been part of my life and I've been immersed in it and its many diverse forms from as far back as I can remember.

I have a background in wildlife biology, with a particular focus on herpetology. Reptiles and amphibians have been a major focus for me and continue to be, however, my curiosity extends to a wide range of biodiversity, as I am captivated by the intricacies and wonders of all life forms in the natural world.

I share an account with my brother, Joey Addesi, as we share more than 98% of sightings, thus avoiding duplicate observations. We spend a lot of our free time travelling to remote corners of the globe, from the jungles of Borneo to the grasslands of Africa in search of what those places have to offer.
