I've loved nature since I was a child. Climbing trees and hand feeding the insects. As an adult I went hiking and camping alot and have done alot of nature photography.

In 2000 I received a degree in Sciences and another in Greenhouse Operations-Florist. I have several certifications including one in Landscape Gardening from Richland College.

I worked at Northhaven Garden nursery as one of their Horticulturists and then the landscaping department at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas for ten years. I had my Texas Structural pesticide license for 9 years.

This year I enrolled in the Texas Master Naturalist program and have since earned my Texas Master Naturalist certification . I love it and everything we do and the people are so wonderful. I feel all the time that I am in my element. I retired several years ago and after being away from the industry I am relearning alot of fauna and learning so much in general about nature. People are so patient and helpful. iNaturalist is a great learning tool and I am enjoying it immensely.

I like very much how we contribute to research by using this tool. I appreciate so much the help I receive on iNaturalist identifying things. Some people have gone out of their way to help me see how something should be identified and I am so grateful.
