I am a researcher at Lankester Botanical Garden at the University of Costa Rica interested in the biology, ecology, evolution and systematics of the Neotropical Orchidaceae (mainly Costa Rica and Panama). My projects are focused on bioinformatics, genomics, Next generation sequencing, in-situ conservation and orchid systematics

Currently, one of my main projects is about the assessments of orchid distributions based on geotagged images.
