The group Snake Identification and First Aid for Snakebites in Vietnam (SIFASV) was established with the aim of contributing to improving education and dissemination of knowledge about snakes in Vietnam in general (especially poisonous snakes), as well as providing basic skills to handle when encountering snakes or being bitten by venomous snakes based on modern scientific knowledge and inherited experiences traditional medicine, helping to protect humans as well as snakes in Vietnam.
