Thanks. Yeah I am surprised as well. Hoping go get some bats this summer. But more importantly, we need some proof of mountain lions. Cause there is no way there are none in the county.

I have seen them in Lincoln county but never in Washington county. I always see the warning signs for mountain lions and bears up along the linear park. Two years back there was a mountain lion reported at Jackson Bottom Wetlands. .

I think there may be some tracks or scat up in Vernonia-Banks region. Or maybe Hagg lake area. I need to explore out there more.

I try to take photos of prints but find it hard with my camera to get good images. Hagg lake is so close and I have many clients in the Vernonia area. Bet the wildlife is settling into areas formerly overrun by humans. Perhaps we will experience more encounters when we reclaim wild areas once more.

I need to spend more time looking for scat and tracks. Im going to try and spend more time up on the Washington county and Multnomah county border where development has not occurred yet. Lots of good habitat up there.
