The April photo-observation of the month by popular vote was The Scribbler. Check it out at http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/644085. The caterpillars of this tiny geometrid moth feed on alders, birches, maples, and willows. The adults can be found from April into early June. Congratulations to iNaturalist Vermont moth fanatic Joanne Russo and thanks to all of you for sharing your sightings on iNaturalist Vermont, a project of the Vermont Atlas of Life. You might be a May winner. Get outside and explore, discover and capture those biodiversity moments!
