Comparing species that are generally difficult to tell apart

Marah fabacea in comparison to M. oreganus
• Flowers off-white and rotate (flattened, not cup-shaped). Per K. Ueda comment on an id of mine.
• Smaller leaves, also not as deeply lobed
• Flower stem of the staminate (male) flowers tends to be shorter
• The fruit much spinier.
