Project Creation Day

Good morning!
I wanted to write a post celebrating the creation of this project, which I made because it's exciting to see what species we have here in Waukesha County.

Currently, the project contains 4,564 observations of 196 different species across 459 participating observers. The most commonly observed species is the American robin (Turdus migratorius) and there are 45 species with only 1 observation.

Highlights include whooper swan (Cygnus cygnus), lark sparrow (Chondestes grammacus), and a hybrid northern flicker (Colaptes auratus luteus × cafer).
