Need Help with Verifications

Greetings to all of you in Austin.
The City Nature Challenge is around the corner. It starts at 12:01AM this Friday and goes until midnight on Monday. I know that many of you are planning events for this year’s City Nature Challenge in the Austin area. This is going to be an exciting year and I know that we have a great chance of being on top of the leaderboard.
After Monday, April 30, begins the real work. Verification of all the observations. If you can help, it would be great. We are planning to hold three evening verification gatherings May 1 – 3 at the Schlotzsky’s at 218 S. Lamar in Austin each evening from 5:30PM until 8:00PM. I will be there on Tuesday and Thursday evening and Tania Homayoun will be there on Wednesday.
We could really use your expertise. We hope to get most if not all of our Austin observations to research grade.

Is there a list of all the area events going on? I'm especially hoping to find a place doing late-night mothing. Some great stuff comes out in the wee hours of the night, but a lot of parks are closed after nightfall.

@baldeagle is your event in the list?

"It goes until 12:00 PM on Monday..." Do this mean Noon or Midnight on Monday???

Wouldn't "PM" be noon, @gcwarbler ?

Midnight would be AM.

Well, that's disappointing. I was going to chase some things this afternoon but that will be moot in about 1 minute and 5 sec.

When they say CNC will go through April 30, I was thinking it was all day on Monday.

Marsha May now confirms that the intent is for the event to end at MIDNIGHT tonight.

Yes, midnight. My fault. I should have put midnight in the first place. The AM and PM thing at 12:00 isn't logical to me. I hope that this didn't cause people to stop at noon. If so, I am so sorry.

Based on @star3's comment above, I stopped at noon, then got your clarification late in the evening--wasted a half day and losts a few species. This reeeeaally needs to be clarified and made explicit next year.

I had seen the "noon" thing, but didn't think that sounded right so I investigated further and went until 11:59 PM. My assumption was that it was a typo in here. Also, the event started at midnight, on what I would consider Thursday, but was technically Friday. So I had started Thursday night.

Yep, I assumed typo too, based on the start time.
Though it didn't make much difference, as my phone is my only camera and it's currently on the fritz, so I didn't get many observations this year.
