I live in Seattle in a place surrounded by trees on many sides. I got interested in pollinators and other insects through his volunteering at Beacon Food Forest and stewarding the property where I live.
I really hope that sharing more about pollinators and the role all insects play across nature inspires people to take the time to do more for our planet. I am really proud that more and more insects of all types appear on our property because of the view simple things we do to like adding logs and sticks to the landscape, increasing the variety of flowering plants and letting food crops bolt.

I really believe that we must move past the conceit that food is only for humans. The better we provide for the critters around us, the more we will receive abundance.
