Hello. My name is Noeline Karlson and I belong to a small group of amateur naturalists known as the Tilligerry Naturewatch Group. We meet once a month at different spots on the beautiful Tilligerry Peninsula, Port Stephens, NSW, to observe the flora and fauna and how they change with the seasons. I am particularly interested in birds but others have a passion for plants and, in particular, the native orchids (over 70 species found locally). Feeling the need to record our diverse local natural environment, and to help me identify species, I have been recording my own observations through this site.
