I am a doctoral student at NC State University studying non-formal education through Ag and Extension Education.

My favorite organisms include reptiles, amphibians, insects, and fungi. I love the tropics and try to travel to Central & South America whenever I'm able.

I'm the current Senior Co-chair of South Carolina Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation. Check us out at scparc.org. We attempt to have herp-focused outings monthly.

I'm also a member of the South Carolina Association of Naturalists.

My background and education is in Wildlife Biology and Wildlife Disease. My Master's Thesis is on Southeastern (Plestiodon) Skinks' role in the Lyme pathogen cycle in the Southeastern US.
