I am an evolutionary ecologist at the Institute of Environmental Sciences of Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. In the past, I focused on symbioses of aphids, ants, and cicadas, but I now lead a research group that studies the diversity and biology of microorganisms associated with diverse insects. I am also interested in molecular methods of surveying insect diversity and tracking community changes during times of climate catastrophe. I would like to use biodiversity data to inform and guide conservation efforts.

In my spare time, I enjoy travel, macro photography, and learning of the diversity and ecology of plants and insects. iNaturalist complements these interests perfectly!
