My background is in biodiversity informatics and entomology, specifically spiders of the Southwest. Not a PhD level expert by any means, but I have worked in the field for some years; mostly in Arizona at NAU where I also worked closely on and with the SCAN and LepNet TCNs. Later I worked in the Taylor Lab at UF for about one year. Currently I am at iDigBio working as Biodiversity Informatics Coordinator, so my work is more data based and spans many taxa these days.
